Carly Dooling
Carly Dooling is an illustrator based out of Oakland, California. She attended the University of California Santa Cruz and received a BFA in Fine Art, with a focus on lithography and printmaking. Carly began drawing at an early age and has always had an affinity for the magic and wonder involved in childrens’ illustration. To this day, she loves to create fantastical worlds led with imaginative flora and fauna. She remains in awe of the love and devotion involved in the process of creating handmade art. She did all of the line work for The Magic of We in pencil. She has been involved in several group art shows around the Bay Area, and continues to be active in her local art community. Carly currently works as a Montessori Preschool teacher, and is heavily influenced by the day-to-day interactions she has with her students.
